I have struggled with my weight since my 3rd child was born in 1983. It seemed like with each pregnancy I just added more weight. I had 6 kids and just could never get the weight off. I tried everything. I was very active but never got anywhere.
I tried WW for years. I counted points forever. I was almost to the point where I thought I would just have to accept the fact that I would be fat forever. Then I saw what Em Leckie accomplished. (We had been good friends and WW goers). So I gave it one last shot and signed up for a year and promised myself I would give it my best shot.
I am now where I want to be, give or take 4-5 pounds. Wearing sizes that I never thought I would see again in my lifetime. I want to stay healthy and avoid the ailments that come as you age and are overweight. I was able to go off my blood pressure pills. I am running/walking 5k's and feeling great. Thinking about doing some 10 k's or longer races.
I never want to go back. Now I am trying to learn how to maintain and stay where I am. I did the LBD challenge and did the best I could and was very proud of myself. I met my goal. Thank you Anna for getting me to my goal and where I want to be forever.
