My weight loss journey with Idaho Falls Fit Body Boot Camp began in June of 2014. I had lost my job the previous year and allowed myself to gain about 50 pounds. So as I began my journey I was really excited about the process. In the first three months I had lost about 10 pounds and was well on my way to a stronger, healthier me. In September, my husband received a job promotion which required us to move out of state. It was something we had been waiting for, for a long time but the move was more difficult than I imagined.
After we moved, I worked out from home at first but often made excuses to not workout and in December I crushed my foot with a trailer tongue. All of these things were excuses but I gained back all of the weight I had lost and 10 more pounds, while still following the plan off and on and exercising occasionally. In March of 2015 I was the heaviest I have ever been. At that point I started to follow the plan, but still not as well as
I should, definitely not 100%. Then in July of 2015 Anna had a new challenge
and for some reason I decided that I was going to do it 100%. Even with vacation and other life obstacles I
completed the summer slim down challenge and won!
I tried to stay on the program 100% since then. I definitely do better when I have a specific goal and during challenges. This winter I participated in the Unstoppable challenge and was one of the few people to finish.
At the beginning of the year Anna announced that she was going to have the Little Black Dress challenge. I had seen the results that others had gotten last year and I was very interested but nervous. I almost didn’t sign up. So I did sign up and followed the plan and did the workouts for the first 6 weeks of the challenge and everything was going great. I was so excited for what was to come and then I got sick. I tried to work through it but the workouts became increasingly difficult. I ended up being sick for a total of 4 weeks and missed several workouts but stayed on plan with my food and water. The last few weeks of the challenge were much more challenging than I ever imagined and I didn’t do as well as I would have liked but I persevered and finished to challenge. I am still working on myself and I am getting closer to my goal all the time. My lifestyle is changing more every day.
